 Dasar Redistribute

    Dalam materi kali ini, kita akan belajar tentang dasar redistribute pada Cisco Packet Tracer.

    Default nya, router hanya bisa meng-advertise dan berbagi route dengan route yang lain yang memiliki protokol routing yang sama. Namun, bagaimana jika router 1 dan yang lainnya masing-masing berbeda routing protokol tetapi ingin terhubung satu sama lain? 

    Jawabannya yaitu kita bisa menggunakan fitur redistribute ini. Dengan kita mengkonfigurasi redistribute pada router, itu berarti tiap tipe routing akan mengambil route dari tipe routing yang lain dan mendsitribusikannya ke protokol routing yang lain pula.

    Dalam kata lain, Redistribute berfungsi untuk menghubungkan beberapa router degan routing protocol yang berbeda. Tipe routing yang dapat dikonfigurasi redistribute dapat berupa static routing maupun dynamic routing.

Selanjutnya kita setting konfigurasi redistributions di Sakti-R9. Pertama,konfigurasikan routing tipe RIPv2 yang mengarah ke Sakti-R2. Masih dalam mode routing RIPV2, langsung redistribute tipe routing RIPv2 tersebut dengan tipe routing lain yang ada.
